Signetix Powder Coating

We provided Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical Engineering construction documents for the 24,000 SF tenant improvement of a powder coating facility, ensuring the space was optimized for efficient operations. Our scope included a 5,000 SF office area, which required HVAC modifications, while the warehouse remained without HVAC per project requirements.

The facility underwent key modifications, including converting the existing kitchen into a restroom to accommodate operational needs. Our engineering design incorporated compressed air and natural gas connections to support specialized equipment, including two small batch booths, one large batch booth, a large oven, and a small oven. Additionally, we designed systems for a large paint line and a small paint line, both featuring conveyors, wash systems, and heating components to ensure a seamless coating process.

To support outdoor operations, we also designed dry systems for the exterior batch booths, ensuring compliance with safety and performance standards. Through our engineering solutions, we helped optimize the facility for efficient powder coating processes while meeting operational and regulatory requirements.
