EMPACT Clinic

We provided Mechanical, Plumbing, and Electrical Engineering (MPE) construction documents for a 15,985 SF ground-up medical clinic. This project required detailed coordination and updates to various systems to meet the specific needs of the clinic's medical spaces. Our scope included relocating diffusers to accommodate privacy curtains in key areas. Additionally, we performed a comprehensive update to the plumbing design, including pipe re-routing and resizing to support sinks in various medical areas. The sanitary riser diagram, electric water heater size, and hot water recirculation pump size were all revised to optimize system efficiency and ensure the proper functioning of all utilities.

In the electrical scope, we reviewed power and data outlet requirements based on updated room layouts, revising the lighting layout in areas with added privacy curtains and ensuring all updated lighting fixtures were accounted for in the interior comcheck. We also made adjustments to panel schedules and load calculations to meet the revised power and data needs across the facility. Our work ensured the medical clinic was equipped with the infrastructure necessary for modern healthcare operations while meeting building codes and functional requirements.
